Bullying incident at QC school goes viral

A disturbing video showing a girl being attacked by classmates in a classroom has spread online, prompting the Department of Education (DepEd) to "actively" address the incident, which reportedly occurred at Bagong Silangan High School in Quezon City.
In a statement issued on Friday, April 4, DepEd responded to the viral bullying incident at Bagong Silangan HS, promising swift action and support for the students involved.
The video showed a lone female student being ganged up on by three other female students inside a classroom before their classmates. This was before one of her attackers grabbed her by the hair. The victim was then dragged around by her hair by her attackers on the classroom floor.
DepEd confirmed that it was "actively addressing" the incident at the Quezon City school.
