Don’t look now, but as rock legends Oasis fill stadiums in their ultra-successful comeback tour, other late 90s to early 2000s rock luminaries are gearing up for their return.
UK band Kula Shaker, of “Govinda” and “Tattva” fame, are bringing back their Beatle-Harrison-esque tinged brand of psychedelia with a tour and new music to boot that’s forthcoming and still looking quite cool more than two decades after first breaking into the alt-rock scene.
Alt-pop faves Pulp have popped back with their 2025 release titled “More.” Gen X would know Pulp from songs such as “Common People” or with their excellent ‘98 tune “Like A Friend” that I first discovered through the soundtrack of the movie Great Expectations, where it sat side by side with Chris Cornell’s epic “Sunshower” and other cool inclusions.
