4.6-quake jolts Davao Oriental

A magnitude 4.6-earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Saturday morning, Nov. 1, according to the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-Phivolcs).
In its Earthquake Information No. 1 issued at 8:49 a.m., Phivolcs said the tremor was recorded 36 kilometers northeast of Manay, Davao Oriental.
The quake had a depth of 10 kilometers and was classified as tectonic in origin.
Phivolcs confirmed that the latest tremor was an aftershock of the October 2025 offshore earthquake in Davao Oriental.
