2 teenage boys killed as truck rams computer shop

Two teenage boys were killed after a 10-wheel truck loaded with sugarcane crashed into a computer shop in Purok 9, Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental on Thursday, May 15.

Police Major Sherwin Fernandez, Murcia police chief, said the victims were aged 14 and 15.

Investigation said the truck lost its brakes while navigating a downhill curve and rammed the roadside shop at around 3:30 p.m.

The younger victim was pinned in front of the truck. He was extricated by rescuers.

The other victim was found near the vehicle, outside the shop.
