LATEST FIGURES SHOW PRICES SOARING ACROSS REGION
RENTS are continuing to soar across Greater Manchester, new data from property site Zoopla reveals.
Tenants are now paying much higher prices each month to rent a home across the region, with some boroughs witnessing rises of up to 10 per cent over the last year.
It comes as Zoopla revealed in its latest rental market report that tenants across the UK are now paying an average of £1,284 a month, which is 3pc higher than last year.
The property experts said that despite rent costs having soared by 24pc across the country over the last three years, the rental market is now 'steadily improving' following three years of 'chronic under-supply and excess demand'.
