Reds' green light for 'plug in and play' ace

Antoine Semenyo would fit the profile United desire

Even with the arrivals of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, the Reds still feel short in attack. Sesko's injury has shown that to be the case.

With Sesko set to miss upcoming games, United seem destined to play Cunha as the false nine with Mbeumo and one of Mason Mount or Amad behind him. But when Mbeumo and Amad leave for AFCON, United suddenly look very short.

Ruben Amorim did hint after the Tottenham draw that he could delve into the January market, especially if Sesko's injury is serious.
