FORMER City striker Mario Balotelli has had a career filled with highs and lows.

Before arriving at City, the Italian forward was part of Inter Milan's Treble-winning squad. Despite only being a teenager, his behaviour during the season angered defender Marco Materazzi, who took it upon himself to rough up a young Balotelli in training.

The striker was subsequently part of the City team that won the FA Cup and Premier League under Roberto Mancini. However, his second spell in the Premier League with Liverpool in 2014 was arguably a career low-point.

He scored just one league goal before being loaned out to AC Milan. On his return, he met Jurgen Klopp, who had succeeded Brendan Rodgers, but Balotelli did not warm to the new Liverpool boss.
