LEFTARM fast bowler Ollie Sutton has signed his first full-time professional contract with Lancashire Cricket ahead of the 2025 season.

'Long road' pays off as Ollie seals first deal

Sutton, 24, from Sefton, signed a short-term deal with the club last summer for the Metro Bank OneDay Cup before suffering a side injury on his debut which ruled him out for the rest of the summer.

Sutton, who previously represented Lancashire at county agegroup level, returned to the club last summer – playing in four matches for the Second XI and impressing during first team training sessions to earn a short-term deal for the OneDay Cup.

On his List A debut against Kent at Blackpool CC, Sutton claimed a wicket with his first legal ball in professional cricket – dismissing Ekansh Singh – before suffering a side injury just two deliveries later.
