Grandma's hair razing chop to help Christie

STUNT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HOSPITAL'S SCANNER

A FUNDRAISER has had a chop for charity to raise funds for a groundbreaking piece of equipment to help cancer patients.

Linda Jones had a dramatic change in hairstyle in order to raise funds for the Christie's campaign to purchase a new CT scanner.

A new building is also required to house the scanner, and combined the project is expected to cost millions of pounds.

Linda, 78, from Altrincham, has played her part with a fundraising appeal which has ended with her sporting a quirky new hairstyle.
