Family bakery to rise in new town

A POPULAR bakery shop which many consider to be 'better than Greggs' will be opening a new shop in Greater Manchester very soon.

Carrs Pasties started life as a bakery on Bolton's Halliwell Road in 1938 and is today run by the third generation of the Carr family.
As well as being stocked at a number of pubs, petrol stations and convenience stores across Greater Manchester and beyond, it still has its original bakery as alongside stores on Manchester Road, Corporation Street and Middlebrook Retail Park in the borough.
