A DAD-OF-TWO is in an induced coma with 'life-changing' injuries after a quick trip to the shop turned into an 'unimaginable' tragedy.

Lewis Rimmer, 42, had popped into the Sainsbury's Local on Darwen Road in Bromley Cross, Bolton, to buy a lottery ticket when he was struck by a Range Rover in the car park.

Lewis was left fighting for his life in critical care. His wife Sarah, daughters Amelia, 10, and Maddison, five, and his wider family and friends have had their 'world turned upside down.
