Brotherly love inspired Jack to take on marathon

A FUNDRAISER who once 'hated' even going for a short jog lined up for the London Marathon in memory of his two late brothers.
Jack Everton, 23, from Prestbury, took on the 26-mile course on Sunday in aid of the Christie.
He ran in tribute to his brothers Nick and Charlie Everton, who both died from cancer.
Nick passed away aged just 17 in 2002 before he could be treated for familial polyposis, a genetic condition where polyps, or growths, appear in the bowel and can turn cancerous.
Charlie was diagnosed with the same condition and died in 2019 at the age of 31 following three years of treatment at the Christie.
Jack said: “Charlie was an amazing brother and friend.
“During his illness he never once complained, facing every obstacle head on, always with a smile on his face, probably masking the pain he was feeling.
