A FAMILY'S 'whole world changed forever' when they discovered the terrifying reason why their beloved daughter could not see properly.

Youngsters are known for their sleepiness, but one mum became worried when her daughter Eve Wilson, aged just 10 at the time, began becoming 'so tired she just kept on falling asleep all the time! Eve also 'couldn't see properly, said mum Penny, with the little girl's vision becoming so bad that she could not see the top letter on an eye chart.

But the family could not have imagined the news they were about to receive. Eve was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma, a brain tumour, in August 2019.

Craniopharyngiomas represent between five and 10 per cent of all paediatric brain tumours and around 30 children a year will be diagnosed with one in the UK.
