FLIGHT CANCELLED AND TURNS BACK... AFTER LANDING AT DESTINATION

PASSENGERS on a flight from Liverpool were flown back to Speke after high winds left them unable to get off the plane at their destination.

The easyJet aircraft from John Lennon Airport to the Isle of Man landed successfully at Ronaldsway airport.

However, due to severe gales, airport ground staff decided it was not safe to wheel the stairs into place to let the passengers exit the aircraft.
