FAMILY PAY TRIBUTE TO 'LARGER THAN LIFE, FEARLESS' VICTIM

- By BEN HASLAM

THE mugshot of a man who admitted killing a nan has been released following his guilty plea.

Michele Kennedy was rushed to hospital on October 13 last year after she was stabbed at a house on Warrington Road, Woolston, Warrington.

Emergency services descended on the scene and the 55-year-old nan was taken to Aintree Hospital after being found with multiple stab wounds outside the address.

Gavin Shaw, 62, of Warrington Road, Woolston, Warrington, was initially charged with attempted murder but it was later changed to murder when Ms Kennedy died in hospital five days later on October 18.
