POLICE HELICOPTER AND HOLIDAY FLIGHTS HIT BY BEAM
TWO teenagers have been arrested after aircraft were targeted by a laser. A National Police Air Service helicopter was travelling to an incident when it was targeted by a green laser from an address in West Derby at around midnight on July 18.
Later on, air traffic control at Liverpool John Lennon Airport reported flights into the city had also been targeted with the laser device.
The NPAS helicopter identified an address on Haydn Road.
