Bookshop calls on its 'tribe' to show support

SPECIAL WEEK STAGED TO CHAMPION LOCAL INDEPENDENT STORES

THE owners of a unique Merseyside venue urged customers to support their business during an important time for the industry.

This week is Independent Bookshop Week, aimed at championing the vital role the stores play in the UK and Ireland.

A number of events will take place to mark the week including guest bookselling, where authors get behind the tills themselves, and the high five for bookshops initiative which is an national e-gift card giveaway.
