'Abused' pupil told school situation is 'serious mental health risk' by GP

A TEENAGER who was reportedly the victim of a series of attacks by fellow pupils at school has been told by a doctor the situation “poses a serious risk to his mental health”.

Last week, the ECHO first reported that a 13-year-old, from Bootle, had reportedly been victim of a string of “unprovoked” hate crime and racial abuse incidents by other pupils at Maricourt Catholic High School in Maghull.

His mum Karol Krysinski contacted the ECHO after she found “horrifying videos” on her son’s phone. She said the footage showed him being “abused, threatened and blackmailed.”

Merseyside Police confirmed it’s investigating the matter after receiving reports of hate crime and assault of a schoolboy at a school in Maghull. Maricourt High said the safety and care of its children is a “priority”. It added that allegations of inappropriate behaviour are taken “extremely seriously” and violence would never be tolerated.
