DEJECTED Zak Skinner made no excuses after “one of his worst ever performances” on the World Championship stage, writes Will Jennings of Sportsbeat in New Delhi.

The Loughborough-based long jumper, 26, missed out on a medal in his T13 event for visually impaired athletes in New Delhi.
Skinner started strongly with a leap of 6.80m but was unable to match his season's best of 6.89m to haul himself onto the podium.
A jump of that distance would have been enough to do so, with Norwegian Vegard Dragsund Sverd bagging bronze with a personal best of 6.88m.
