VILLAGERS have spoken of their shock after police announced the discovery of a body and the subsequent arrest of a 66-year-old man.
DISCOVERY: The body found is believed to be that of Max Walsh
Nobody in Snarestone was familiar with Max Walsh, 21, whose body was believed to have been discovered near to the Ashby Canal on Saturday.
Police have not said what the man was arrested on suspicion of.
Ocado worker Max had not been seen since he left his place of work in Dordon, Warwickshire, at around 2pm on Thursday.
On Friday, Leicestershire Police found his vehicle parked 10 miles from Dordon in the village of Snarestone.
The body was found not far from the unattended vehicle.
Officers were still at the scene yesterday morning in Green Lane, about a mile from the centre of Snarestone, towards the village of Twycross.
