LEICESTER Tigers legends Dan Cole and Ben Youngs both start against Newcastle Falcons today (3.05pm) in the final match of the regular Gallagher Premiership season.
Cole, 38, and Youngs, 35, England's two most capped players, could make their final appearances at Mattioli Woods Welford Road before retiring at the end of the season.
Cole starts at tight-head prop ahead of Joe Heyes while Youngs gets the nod over Jack van Poortvliet at scrum-half.
Tigers host Falcons knowing they only need a point to seal their place in the Premership play-offs.
The only scenario in which Leicester can miss out would be if they take zero points from their match, Sale Sharks and Bristol Bears both lose, and Saracens earn a bonus-point win by a margin of over 40 points.
Leicester will want to secure a home match in the play-offs to have the full force of their supporters behind them and carry the momentum of a win with them into June.
