AMERICAN ambitions in their attacks on Iran may be hard to fulfil, but suggestions there could be a nuclear conflict are unlikely, an expert believes.

Arthur Langley, from the University of Leicester and a research intern with the defence assessment consortium Nuclear Deterrence Network, said: “The killing of Ayatollah Khamenei creates a profound political vacuum in Iran at precisely the moment when clearheaded decision-making matters most.
