Wildlife park opens new Christmas markets - and you can still visit the animals too

PEAK Wildlife Park, set in the Staffordshire Moorlands just outside Leek, is unwrapping a new festive tradition for 2025 - its first Christmas markets.

Running on selected weekends during December, the markets are included with a standard day ticket, blending all the joy of a seasonal shop-and-snack with the magic of meeting incredible animals.

It's going to be a great-value day out for families, friends, and anyone who loves a cosy winter wander with a hot chocolate in hand.

From fairy lights to fire pits, this is a market with a difference. Stalls from local makers will be dotted throughout the park, offering handcrafted gifts, artisan treats and proper stocking fillers alongside warming seasonal food and drink. Visitors can enjoy all of the park's amazing animals, eateries and play areas as well, as part of the same day out.
