The sight of a bunch of runners of a certain vintage prompted an important debate at Wobschall Towers this week - what's the worst dressed sport?
Usually the answer would be simple - golf. A friend recently revealed that her other half is planning a trip to Portugal later this year and he will be taking his favourite item of clothing to wear. A pair of tartan shorts. Worse still, he's planning to team them with an argyle sweater, brogues and a baker boy style hat. Which on a balmy day in September might not be the most practical choice.
Other entrants into the 'worst dressed' league include cyclists, darts players and - off the pitch at least - footballers.
