University of Lancashire signs start to go up in city

Signs of the new name for Preston's university have begun to spring up at the city's campus.

Last year the University of Central Lancashire was granted permission to drop the 'Central' from its name.

From September it will start to operate as the University of Lancashire.

A sign spotted on the university's oldest building, the Harris Building, has already been swapped to be the new slimmed down name.
