Two killed after bike crashes into couple out walking

Two men were killed and a woman was fighting for her life last night after a motorcyclist crashed into pedestrians on the A6.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the double fatality on the A6 Preston Road, in Claton-le-Woods, nearly Chorley shortly after 10.30pm on Thursday.
A BMW 1000XR motorbike is believed to have collided with two a couple on foot at the junction with Cloverfield.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Macclesfield, and one of the pedestrians, a man in his 60s from Clayton-le-Woods, were pronounced dead at the scene.
