I can’t help but notice that the politicians who use negatively emotive language that dehumanises migrants and who seem to be promoting a perverted and harmful vision of patriotism, are often the same ones encouraging denial about our dangerously warming climate. Don’t they see that there is a connection? We can all see that our climate is changing, even here in the UK.

Dangerous heat and serious drought this summer follows flooding. Extreme weather is getting more ‘normal’.

The food security that we in this country take for granted, is diminishing.
