Matty back with City as Marshall moves in swiftly

Jimmy Marshall's second Lancaster City signing of the summer is a familiar face at the Giant Axe.
Defender Matty Clarke has returned to the club where he started the 2023/24 season and made 20 appearances. Clarke moved on to Clitheroe before being reunited with his former Dolly Blues boss Mark Fell at Workington last November.
Both this summer's recruits have joined from Cumbrian clubs, with forward Steven Yawson arriv-ing from Kendal Town a fortnight ago. Clarke is also a former player at Kendal, where he previously worked with Marshall.
