Living doll - finally a good use for annoying chatbots

I'm not generally a huge fan of internet trends. Perhaps it's because the term 'viral' conjures up thoughts of something unpleasant that you might catch.

Or maybe it's because the vast majority are hugely overrated and are more 'meh' than 'wow'.

But this is one trend has been particularly difficult to ignore, not least because it is absolutely all over Facebook. "Turn me into a boxed doll' - six little words that have seemingly captured the imagination of the entire country.

Everywhere you look (on social media, at least) there are pictures of people as Barbie, as an action figure, as cartoon style figures.
