Juniors making their mark in road relay races

Preston Harriers' juniors had another successful day at the Northern Athletics Road Relays Championships, held at Leigh Sports Village.
The under-15 boys were once again amongst the medals. In appalling conditions, the A team of Albert Yates, Jack Mawdsley and Sam Bates took the silver medal, finishing just 12 seconds behind Liverpool Harriers, with Jack Mawdsley running the sixth fastest leg of the day.
Meanwhile, the B team of Matthew Bennett, Jack Turner and Harry Hopkinson finished 15th and collected the medals for the first B team to finish.
