Callum capture a risk worth taking for PNE

Callum Lang signed for PNE on deadline day

The signing of Callum Lang was a risk worth taking, says Preston CEO Peter Ridsdale.

The attacking player arrived on transfer deadline day from Portsmouth for a fee which could potentially rise to being the club's record ever outlay.

A number of supporters have voiced concern about the 27-year-old's injury record.
