NHS hails volunteers

NHS Ayrshire & Arran has thrown its weight behind Volunteers' Week.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.

And NHS Ayrshire & Arran has celebrated all the many volunteers who support their hospital services throughout the year.

A spokesperson said: ”We recognise the positive contribution volunteers make across the organisation, in partnership with patients, families and staff.
