In a vibrant display of patriotism ahead of Independence Day, a Tiranga rally was taken out on Thursday through the interiors of the Old City, downtown Srinagar. The event drew participation from both security personnel and local residents, aiming to spread a message of unity, peace, and national integration in the backdrop of the abrogation of Article 370.

Participants carried the tricolour high as they marched through the narrow lanes, chanting patriotic slogans and expressing pride in the national flag. Police officers from the concerned posts in downtown Srinagar joined the rally, ensuring smooth passage while engaging warmly with residents along the route.
