Israeli Attack Followed Trump's 60-Day Deadline to Iran
Kashmir Observer

President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran following a major Israeli attack, cautioning Tehran against retaliation. The strikes, which took place on the 61st day after a U.S.-backed ultimatum to Iran, were reportedly coordinated with the Trump administration, according to Israeli sources.
Though the air assault was carried out solely by the Israeli Air Force, senior officials in Jerusalem emphasized that the operation was not unilateral. Contrary to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s earlier comments, Israeli officials stated that President Trump had been in close contact with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and had agreed to the timing of the strikes, marking a significant escalation in the standoff with Tehran.
“Israel acted after the deadline,” said one Israeli security source, referring to the two-month window the Trump administration had reportedly given Iran to return to the negotiating table. “The 60-day warning passed. On day 61, Israel struck.”
