HC Seeks Govt's Response To PIL On Rotten Meat In J&K

The High Court of J&K and Ladakh on Wednesday sought response of the government within four days to a Public Interest Litigation seeking slew of directions on preventing the sale, storage, distribution, and transportation of rotten, unhygienic, and unsafe meat and poultry products within the Jammu & Kashmir.
A division bench of Chief Justice Arun Palli and Justice Rajnesh Oswal also impleaded Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to the PIL filed by a practicing lawyer Mir Umar through advocate Shafaqat Nazir.
