WE R BLIGHTY DIRECTOR SAYS GUILTY PLEA WAS 'EASIER' OPTION
THE directors of a Broadstairs-based firm which raises funds for homeless military veterans have been fined after admitting to unlicensed street trading and money collection in the City of London.
In a hearing held at City of London Magistrates’ Court on June 4, Ben Mills and Danielle Vidler, directors of community interest company We R Blighty (WRB), pleaded guilty to 14 charges of operating without the necessary permits required under either the Police, Factories, & c. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act and the City of London (Various Powers) Act 1987.
