Mel full of praise for Brave Irish

MEL Gibson has thanked the Irish public for the role they played in the making of his Oscar-winning film Braveheart.
Mel was speaking in Trim, Co Meath, yesterday as part of a series of events that are taking place to mark the 30th anniversary of the making of the 1995 movie.
A host of other actors from the iconic film were also in town as part of the King John Summer Prom Festival, which takes place this weekend.
