Meath's Frayne says boss Robbie would lift any county in the country
EOGHAN Frayne reckons Meath manager Robbie Brennan would lift the confidence of any side in the country.
Kilmacud Crokes' All-Ireland winning club manager Brennan also landed three Dublin and Leinster championships with the Stillorgan outfit.
And the Dunboyne man has been a revelation in his first season, guiding Meath to shock championship wins over Dublin, Kerry and Galway to set up an All-Ireland semifinal with Donegal at Croke Park today.
"He's just given us a huge lift, and like I said before the Galway game, he fills you with confidence, which I think the group needed," said Royals' skipper Frayne.
"If you put him into any team in the country, I think he'd fill them with confidence and I think confidence makes a huge difference to how you play.
"There's not that much in the skill set between a lot of teams but I think once you have a good work rate and you have a bit of confidence about you, I think you can end up winning games.
BOOST
"Luckily, we've won a good few this year so I can't speak highly enough of him. I think he's been great.
"Colm (O'Rourke) was great while he was there and you can't speak highly enough about him because he gave me my chance to play for Meath.
