DAN James is confident Leeds will deliver an instant response after dropping out of the automatic promotion places.

The failure to beat relegation-threatened Luton meant Daniel Farke's side head to Middlesbrough tomorrow having dropped to third place.

James admits a hard-fought point at Kenilworth Road came as no consolation when the clear target was to head back north with all three.

But the Wales winger insists the setback will not dent the belief at Elland Road that they can finish in the top two.

He said: “We are all pushing for the same thing.
