Tributes as oldest man in Ireland dies

TRIBUTES are being paid to Ireland's oldest man, a Holocaust survivor and table tennis champion, after he died at the age of 107 over the weekend.

Josef Veselsky passed away peacefully on Saturday in the “loving and exceptional care” of the staff at St John’s House Nursing Home in Dublin.
Hailed as a ‘remarkable Dublin resident’, Josef, known to all as Joe, was born in Bratislava in 1918.
