Garmin's new Instinct smartwatch is designed for adventurers

I'VE been testing Garmin Instinct 3 in recent weeks, the model with the AMOLED screen that still offers incredible battery life.

The Instinct range is known as Garmin's most rugged model, and the Solar variants technically offer unlimited battery life if you live in a sunny enough climate to keep the battery going forever.

My review unit forgoes that endurance capability for the bright and colourful AMOLED screen but still offers up to 15 days of battery stamina (depending on your usage).

It's an even tougher build than previous models thanks to a reinforced metal ring in the bezel.
