Disgusting fools giving Trent a hard time for leaving need to go give their head a wobble

TAANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

THE way Trent Alexander-Arnold has been treated by so many clowns is an absolute disgrace.

This is a young man from Liverpool who has given so much of his life to a club that means so much to him.

And yet now, with his contract up and Real Madrid beckoning, it is apparently okay for the rent-a-thug mob to put the boot in. It's disgusting.

Remember Trent has been at the club since he was six years of age. That's 20 years service. He didn't cost the club a penny. He has played over 250 games, won two Premier Leagues, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, the FA Cup and a League Cup.

He has been honest. He has made it clear he will be moving on. And what a contrast between his behaviour and Captain Fantastic Virgil van Dijk and team superstar Mo Salah.

This pair earn twice as much as Trent and have spent the entire season playing the media game, the threat of moves to Saudi Arabia hanging over Liverpool's season.

They took negotiations to the wire and their extensive entourage eventually delivered unbelievable contracts and generous financial rewards.

These are two legendary, experienced superstars who play the game and do what is best for them. That's modern football. That's life, baby.

While Trent did not cost anything, Liverpool spent €90m on Virgil and €45m on Salah - a total of €135m.

They have both been great value for the Reds. But the same value for money as Trent? That is up for debate.
