Skipper muscles his way into first Test with commanding display
MARO ITOJE showed Australia he means business as he led from the front in this eight-try demolition, the Lions second 50-point haul Down Under.
The lock dominated the line out, was a nuisance to the Reds all match, scored a try and kept the ship afloat when his side were under the cosh in the first quarter.
The win could have come at a cost with Elliot Daly's arm injury being assessed last night but there was plenty for boss Andy Farrell to take from the win with less than three weeks to the first Test.
Flanker Jac Morgan (inset), now the only Welsh player on tour, topped the tackle charts with 18, got on the scoresheet and linked up well with the backs as the Lions went through the gears in the second half. He won the battle on the deck against a useful Reds back row and has done his Test chances no harm.
