JAMIE’S Choice has been put in as favourite for this low-grade handicap but will surely need the run after a significant absence, having also been well beaten on debut and on last year’s return.

Those were maiden races, so Jamie’s choice was entitled to struggle, but Tracy Wagott isn’t known for getting her horses ready first time (3-157 with her flat runners off a break of 60+ days in the last decade) and I doubt he’ll be an exception.
