Singing legend Stewart rests voice between gigs

ONE of the most famous voices in rock was muted as Rod Stewart spent a day out with his family in total silence.

The legend was in fine form on Saturday when he thrilled fans in Milan on his farewell world tour.

But performing can take a toll on 80-year-old vocal cords so Rod decided to give them a rest ahead of tomorrow's gig in Lisbon.
