THE fate of Saturday's ITV jumps programme is reliant on a rise in temperatures as snow and frost wiped out racing yesterday.

Even Wolverhampton's all-weather fixture fell victim to a cold snap which so far has claimed every jumps meeting since in Ireland and the UK since Saturday.

Officials hope a thaw can ensure today’s meeting goes ahead and there is an 8am inspection. The other meeting today is on the sand at in a schedule which also includes all-weather racing from Southwell.
