Palace boss Glasner in frame for Reds as Amorim departs

MANCHESTER United bosses are split over who to appoint as the club's next manager — and when to do it.

As Manchester froze under a blanket of snow yesterday, the Glazers and Jim Ratcliffe started the search for a new boss following the sacking of Ruben Amorim after 14 months in charge at Old Trafford.

The call to axe Amorim was made before Sunday's draw at Leeds, after which the Portuguese opened fire on his employers in an explosive post-match press conference.
