Owls fans to call off boycott

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY fans have been urged to return to Hillsborough after the troubled Championship club was placed in administration. The Owls have also been hit with an automatic 12-point deduction by the EFL. Supporters groups have called an immediate halt to their boycott against owner Dejphon Chansiri's disastrous regime.

Fans are now set to stage an emotional show of support at today’s home game against Oxford.

Supporters Trust spokesman Rob Brookes said: “We've reversed the boycott and are trying to get as many people back into the ground, the club shop, and on to the concourse as we can. We hope there will be a bumper crowd.”
