JOHN O'SHEA has dismissed fears of a growing disconnect between the national team and the Irish footballing public.
His former teammate and current Shelbourne boss Damien Duff expressed his concerns last week that the fortunes of the senior Ireland team were beginning to resonate less and less with fans.
And another ex-international, Richard Dunne, spoke of his own worries in an interview with this newspaper.
