Group's hits star in big stage show

POP icons Steps arrived in Dublin this week to launch the Irish tour leg of their musical Here & Now - The Steps Musical.

The eagerly anticipated new show opens at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on September 23 for a limited two-week run.

Steps were a pop phenomenon consisting of members Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian 'H' Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans and Lisa Scott-Lee, and this musical is based around the band's hit-packed back catalogue.

The group scored 14 UK top five singles, four UK number one albums, 22 million record sales, 500 million streams and they have eleven sold-out arena tours under their belts.

The band's hits include Tragedy/Heartbeat, Stomp, One For Sorrow, Better Best Forgotten, 5,6,7,8, Last Thing On My Mind, Love's Got A Hold Of My Heart and Chain Reaction. All of these smashes will feature in the musical alongside many more.
